Dialplan pattern command usage

Hello Tech's

In CME, have following ephone-dn (8 digits).

ephone-dn 1 dual-line

number 81004460

With the command below,

dialplan-pattern 1 0353245... extension-length 8 extension-pattern 81004...

Able to see both extension (8 digits) and E.164 (10 digits) numbers as follow with

"sh dial-p vo sum", which is expected behavior.

20001 pots up up 81004460$ 0 50/0/1

20024 pots up up 0353245460$ 0 50/0/1

With the command below,

dialplan-pattern 1 53245... extension-length 8 extension-pattern 81004...

I only see extension (8 digits) number and no E.164 (8 digits) number as

follows:

20001 pots up up 81004460$ 0 50/0/1 which is there due to the number command under ephone-dn 1

AFAIK dialplan-pattern is used to extract and prefix the extension number from and to a longer DID number, but here the dialplan-pattern, extension-length and pattern are 8 digits, can this be done or cannot.
