Disable IP Routing - Sup32-3B

Previously, the cmd "no ip routing" and "ip default-gateway" is good enough for the management access on Cat.4500 / Cat.6500.

Now, we have Sup32-3B [IOS:s3223-ipbase_wan-mz.122-18.SXF6.bin] newly deployed for L2 Switch. The "no ip routing" cmd is missing and I need to add a default route to the gateway.

Is it the right way to do so, or I miss any useful commands for it?

Thanks!

ip routing can't be disabled.

If you need a default route, enter:

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 [gateway_ip]

Thanks and that's what I am doing now.

But, one more question is

The ip routing can't be disabled on Sup3B or the specific IOS image?

Cheers!

It's not an IOS feature, it's a hardware feature.
