Hello all
we want to configure a dynamic NAT on a router.
The NAT must conserve the same last octet.
10.a.b.c nated to 20.a.b.c
Is it possible with IOS CISCO ?
Thanks for yours reply

Hi,
Yes, using static NAT.

Hi
Ok for the Static NAT. But the problem is we have a lot of host (150). We will like a NAT automatic. Is it possible with a pool for exemple ? The objective is 10.a.b.c to 20.a.b.c for exemple

Yes,
you can use static Nat or using a pool with the 20.a.b.c in dynamic NAT.

Ok but when I configure a pool, the NAT don't translate with the same IP adress last octet.

A pool is just that - a group of IP's sitting in a bucket, waiting to be called upon. If you NEED, for example, 10.1.1.1 to be translated to 20.1.1.1 using Cisco NAT, you need to go with multiple static entries (as was mentioned by an earlier poster) rather than a pool.

When you create the pool, be sure to add the match-host option

Ok I found the command line
it's :
ip nat outside source static network 10.0.0.0 1.0.0.0 /8
And that's work !
