XML error address book 4.2sr3

I get this error when trying to do a blank/full search on my own address directory from another Call manager cluster or my own local registered phone

by blank search I mean, not enteing data into any of the search fields on the phone and pressing search, all persons in the directory should come up but I get the error

XML error [4] : Parse Error

I can however put a name in and the search will complete.

Sounds like you are exceeding the maximum number of results. try restricting your search results to <=99. this may help.

First a few questions,

-Is the Phone Book (Directory Lookup) application home brewed?

- or is it the standard "Corporate Directory" packaged with CM.

- is it running on a publisher in the same cluster as the phone ? if not what are the two versions of CM running?

All CM are running 4.2(3)

I only have access to my site CM not the main and I point the directory to the main CM.

This cluster has a publisher in the middle that pulls all directories from its spoke publishers and then redistributes the directory back.

Would need to know the version of CM running the Directory application.
