The response I received from Tandberg suggested that, officially, support for SCCP endpoints extends to CUCM 5.1, but there are sites who have used the CUCM 5.1 signed COP files with CUCM 6.0.
Generally for all the devices supported in CUCM .cop files are present by default.
In case of any upgrades you need have these files taken from OEM. e.g .cop files are required for Polycom in CUCM 6.0 as CUCM hasn't started supporting it natively.
