Does CCIE Meet CCDA Requirements

Unanswered Question

One of the requirements of a CCDP is a CCDA. Does a valid CCIE meet the CCDA requirement? The certification progress page seems to suggest that but I'm not sure.

Thanks,

Jesse

I have this problem too.

the requirements for a CCIE are really independent of the requirements from either the associate or professional level certs.

Yes, to get your CCDP, you must also have a valid CCDA. A valid CCIE doesn't meet the CCDA requirement.

No, it doesn't. What you are probably reading into, is that the CCIE written is a possible choice as a re-cert path for the CCDA. Does this make sense?
