Please be a little more specific... I'm assuming you aren't talking about Bridge Control Protocol. :)

RFC 2827 is a list of methods to protect your own network. If you are talking about Business Continuity Practices, it would be a piece of the puzzle.

Take a look at the SRND's that Cisco has out there, or the concepts behind the older SAFE Blueprints. Life is modular.

Whether types of filters or types of equipment, what are you trying to protect? what are you trying to protect against?
