I have a problem where a 3640 VoIP gateway FXS ports will hang for over a minute after a call is disconnected. Overtime, the ports will completely lock up and need to be reset. Here is the scenario:
H.323/3640/FXS-------FXO/PBX/Digital-Phone
So, the 3640 connects H.323 to a PBX with FXS/3640-FXO/PBX. Here is what happens every time for over one minute after the call is hung up from the VoIP side:
PHNO-CRR01#sh voice port summ

3/1/0 -- fxs-ls up up off-hook idle y
3/1/1 -- fxs-ls up dorm on-hook idle y
(call stuck in off-hook position)
I am wondering if I should use the commands for "timouts call-disconnect" or "timeouts wait-release" to help the FXS ports go on-hook, or are those commands for FXO ports only?
Also, are there any other suggestions?
Thx.
