I have an IPSec VPN tunnel between my office and headquarters.I am loosing the connection if the VPN is down. I want to establish redundant VPN tunnel to same location.

I have ASA5520 and 2800 series router.

VPN is configured in ASA.

Please guide in this matter.

Perhaps there is something in your environment that I do not understand. It sounds like you have an ASA5520 on one end and a 2800 router on the other. Where would the redundant tunnel go? If the second tunnel is from the same source and to the same destination would it not be carried like the first tunnel is carried? And if whatever is carrying the first tunnel were to fail would the second tunnel not also fail?

If there is something in your environment that I have not correctly understood then perhaps you can help me understand it better.
