Client can't connect to VPN

I'm trying to connect a VPN client to a VPN, when connecting form home I have no problems, but when I try from work I have the Message Reason 412: The remote peer is not longer responding. @ work I'm behind a Pix 515E, but the VPN I'm trying to connect to is in another location.

I'm wondering if the pix is blocking the client???

It is very likely the local pix at work is blocking your vpn outbound. ESP, udp 500, udp 4500 would need to be allowed outbound.

Do you have a static NAT translation behind your PIX or are you using the global PAT?

If you are using the global PAT, try it with a static NAT

PIX has dynamic NAT
