I have a new install of 5.1(3) on a single server. I have been doing all the configuration from a Firefox window, so I do not know how long the issue I am about to described has existed. Anytime I try to log into the Call Manager administration web page using IE, I get a "Login Failed, Please Try Again" error. But I can turn around and log in through a Firefox browser with absolutely no problems. I ensured that there were no LAN settings in IE and I have cleared everything possible.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Nathan,
UCM 5.x Administration Application is now heavily dependent on Java where as previous versions have been more dependent on ASP/ActiveX. I have had customers expirence your symptoms when their Security Settings in IE are preventing java applets from properly interacting with the browser. Here are some things to check/try.
- IE 6.0 or higher
- IE Options Use a standard security level (Medium - High) custom one may be your faulter.
- Try updating IE via http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Hope this helps

Chalk this one up as a PICNIC error (problem in chair, not in computer)! Firefox had saved the password and I was using the incorrect password when trying to login from IE. I apologize for the wasted post.
