customer getting callmgr 5.1 has existing t-1's.can the carrier be providing customer with a t-1 that has numbers associated with each channel? that is, as an example, if 555-1212 is incoming number dialed, it comes in on channel 1; if 555-5678 is called, it comes in on ch 2, etc.
if possible, can i use mgcp t-1cas to handle this or do i need h323?
also, what signaling specs do i need to verify with carrier? is e&m only port type?
thanks
Rob

Hi,
before starting messing with CAS, why don't you ask telco if they can give you ISDN PRI instead? You will get all the advantages like clid, DID etc, and none of the complications!

i wish, but this is a working ckt so it will be a hot-cut into the ipt system
thanks
