I need help. I have a network which has a HQ office, a branch office, and users connecting via Cisco VPN client software when they go home or travel.
All the servers are located at the HQ office and the main servers are 2 Citrix boxes which are heavily used by the remote branch. They are configured as a farm. And then we have a single Exchange box.
The other servers are the typical stuff: file/print servers, DCs, one BES and 2 database servers.
We will be getting a 10Mbps dedicated pipe to the internet and a Cable connection to use as a backup, so how would you go about making the best design for this network? The following is the current equipment we have:
-1 24-port 10/100 2950 with 2 additional 1Gigabit ports
-1 24-port 10/100 2950
-1 12-port 10/100 2950
We are thinking to add to this equation a 2801 or 2811 router
