We are moving to a new facility and looking for specs to give to the cabling contractor.

Are there any issues using CAT 6e or CAT 7 with the Cisco phones?

We use 7941/7961/7971 G or GE. I read the specs on the GE phones and think they are 1 Gig and the G are 100 Meg. Am I right? Any gossip that new phones can handle more?
