Back ground noise on IP Phone

I this problem when a 7942G or 7945G call a 7961 or 7941 there is a back ground noise that sounds like a squeaky hamster wheel. I have changed the handsets between the two sets and the trouble moves with the handset. The codec being used is G-722 or G-711. I have CCM 5.1.3.
