Hello all.....We will be upgrading our Unity 4.2 to Unity 5.0.1 and would also like to upgrade OS to Server 2003, our current config is also running Exchange 2000 on the same server. Would it be better to install Unity and new OS on new server?, and will it still run Exchange 2000?
Thank you.....

I just went through this very thing not long ago. My path was to upgrade to 5.0(1) on the same box, do a backup (with DIRT backup), then migrate the 5.0(1) to the new box (do an fresh install, then restore with DIRT restore). Seems like 5.0(1) preferred Exchange 2003, but cant remember that part.

Thanks for the info, I think I had read that if doing an upgrade Exchange 2000 would still work, but a new install would require Exchange 2003.
Have a great day...

In that case, just install 4.2 on the new box, and do a restore from the old one. Then do the upgrade to 5.x. That may be a better path. I think 4.0(5) and up is supported on Win2003.
