IP COMMUNICATOR THRU VPN ON ASA 5500

hello,

I want to know if there are any issues on using IP communicator from remote thru a VPN which is terminated on an ASA 5500.

If there are issues, recommendations are welcome.

other than QoS on the Internet no you will be just fine.

Extension Mobility doesn't work with IP Communicator through VPN but it is not necessarily a problem with the concentrator. It is the same MAC addresses for all VPN clients confusing Extension Mobility.

There can be, yes.

If you use AES encryption on your VPN, you'll need to make sure you don't use VPN client 4.6 thru 4.8.
