PIX to IOS VPN Problem

I have a PIX 501 (6.3(5)) at the main office and Cisco 877 and a 1701 (both IOS 12.4) at some branch offices. With our current configuration we can launch the VPN tunnel from the branch end and everthing works okay apart from ping/ICMP. Also we dont seem to be able to bring up the tunnel from the head office to the branches.

The configs are attached. Any ideas?

You are not allowed to ping the interface of the PIX with tunnel and without tunnel. If the ICMP works with the end to end encryption host, you can assume that tunnel is working in healthy.

for starters, you don't want to use the keyword 'any' in your crypto map acl's. I'm not saying that's your problem, but it's not helping.

PIX inside interfaces are pingable across a vpn tunnel as long as the general traffic is part of the crypto map acl, the management-access inside command is enabled, and no interface acl's are preventing it.
