I am using Cisco AS5300 with IOS 'c5300-is-mz.123-6.bin'. Whenever the AS reboots (abnormally, e.g. power recycle), it stuck in ROM mode. Then there is a need to hard reset the AS, OR reset the AS through console.
Is there any other way? upgrading IOS? etc.
Thanks in advance

I haven't used an AS5300 in a while, but this *sounds* like a configuration register problem. Don't remember the setting but the config reg is a bitmap, the bit that says "boot to IOS" must be OFF. Someone here should know...

This is not config register issue. It's 0x2102 (boot from IOS)
Any other ideas?

Then I'd say TAC case it...
