cue and ccm integration

2851 Router came in with CCME and CUE installed. IOS 12.4.6 and cue 2.3. I want to integrate CUE with CCM 4.2. Is it possible?

I found this statement I am not sure exactly what it means and how it is done.

Note: There is no method to convert or back up and restore from a Cisco CallManager Express integrated

with Cisco Unity Express to a Cisco CallManager integrated with Cisco Unity Express or vice versa. The card

must be re-imaged. This means that you must reapply the software and license, and all the configuration and

data, which includes voice mail messages, are lost.

Hi Abye,

You cannot move the CUE config between CME and CCM. You will need to order the proper License for use with CCM. Have a look;

Your system probably came with a License like this for CME (Note the CME at the end of the part#);

Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express

12-mailbox package: SCUE-LIC-12CME=

What you really need is a License like this for CCM (Note the CCM at the end of the part#);

12-mailbox package: SCUE-LIC-12CCM=

From this good doc;

Yes, you can integrate CUE with CCM 4.2. This statement is referring to the fact that you cannot backup your existing CUE that is integrated with CME, integrate the CUE with CCM and restore the data or vice versa. Take a look at the following link.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Thank you. I have downloaded and added the license file. Now I have access but since I already used done initialization with CME I had to manually edit the cue config and add the ccn subsystems and triggers. However, it does not seem to communicate with CCM. From the Gui when I try to verify connection. I get an error connecting. "Web login failed. Error while determining CCM VERSION -1

Jtapi login failed. Error while determining CCM version -1

I checked the password except the password has $ and @ probably it did not like that???
