BSCI and CCIP equipment question

I am currently beginning to study for the BSCI and am planning to go down the CCIP route, although I'm planning to get my CCNP as well at some point. I currently have the following equipment, and know that I will need to replace several components, if not all.

1 each: 2610, 2611 and 2520 routers

1 each: 2900XL and 1900 switches

I'm thinking that I will want at least a couple 2950 or 2960 switches, and probably at least one 3550 or 3650 switches. Also, I'm thinking that I will want at least 1 or 2 2800 series routers. Does anyone have some suggestions on what I should start picking up, and what pieces I should get first? I'm thinking that the CCIP route is much more router intensive, so i'll want to focus on the routers first. Thanks.

I have seen that emulator and would like to still go about purchasing the equipment, or possibly renting time on equipment remotely. Any suggestions on actual equipment?

Hi,

I suggest the following;

2 x 2800 Series Routers

2 x 2960 Catalyst Switch (EMI)

1 x 3560 Catalyst Switch (EMI)

The above can be use also for CCIE in case you want to go for it in the future.

Regards,

Dandy
