C3750 switch fails post with the following-

Waiting for Stack Master Election (around 30 seconds)...

POST: PortASIC CAM Subsystem Tests : Begin

TCAM (asic:4) walking-one test failed

Write: 80_00000000_01000000-00_00000000_00000000

Read: 80_00000000_01800000-00_00000000_00000000

POST: POST Failed

POST: PortASIC CAM Subsystem Tests : End, Status Failed

POST: CAM test failed

POST Failed: disabling stack links and shutting down SDP

driver class subsystem initialization failed

!!! WARNING: The switch is not usable !!!

Unable to create l2trace server process, socket_open() failed

any informayion on the causes of this?and is their a remedy?

Based on these error messages I would believe that the problem was a hardware error in the switch. I believe that the appropriate thing to do is to open a case with Cisco TAC about this.

Hello. I'd like to know what was the reply you had from CISCO and how you solved this issue? By the way I am experiencig the same problem:
