HI Jackie,

This is Normal. Refer the"show run" whether the domain name-lookup is configured for some Servers then it may resolve quickly.

Otherwise check with the ISP for some DNS Names.

ya,the domain name-lookup is configured, the config is

ip domain name xx.xx.x

ip name-server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

but on the other router also the domain name-lookup is configured, the config is

ip name-server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

ip name-server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

but whe ping www.google.com it appear

ping www.google.com the domain translation is just appear 1 time only. And why it repeat several time on the other router

Translating "www.google.com"...domain server (202.188.1.5) [OK]

HI Jackie,

If the name Server located in Service Provider means, i would recommend check with them for Resolution.

Whether the lookup Servers are Primary or relay points.

Try to trace the name Server from the Router in which you have the Problem and from the other U dont have.
