1760 Series router NVRAM error

Hello

I have a 1760 series router that is coming up with

Warning: monitor nvram area is corrupt....using default values

Can anyone provide ant further information concerning this error. Is there any memory test that I can do to verify nvram memory if correct. Test memory is not recongised on this machine.

It can be hardware failure

Since the test memory cmd is not working

try first by giving "show startup-con" or sh nvram cmd..

try for "write erase" and reload the router.

if still both show error then it can be hardware failure.. :(

Hope u have got backup 4 the startup configuration
