New 7945,7965,7975 phones will not power up on existing network where 7940 and 7960 work fine

These phones do not support Cisco pre-standard PoE. They support 802.3af only. If your PoE switch does not provide 802.3af power, you will have to use a power injector or power adapter. Take a look at the phone specifications in the following link.
