what kind of route it will be if i will use redistribute command under ospf and what kind of route it will be if i will use distribute list with route map? will it be external or internal?

When you redistribute into OSPF, the routes are tagged as "External" either type 1 or type 2 default being type 2

Distribute list in OSPF is used for controlling prefixes from being entered into the routing table and not for redistribution

Using Distribute List with Route-Map statements, will be useful to define a Route-Map to prevent OSPF Routes from being added to the Routing Table.

Hi

Routes redistributed into your OSPF process will always be external routes, either type 1 or type 2.

Type 1 = Cost of external route as advertised into the OSPF AS + the internal cost within the OSPF AS.

Type 2 = Just the cost of the external route as advertised into the OSPF AS.

By default the type is 2 but you can change this when you redistribute using the "metric" option.

They would still be external whether you use a distribute list/route-map or not.
