Could anyone please tell me how we can check the status of the health probes defined for the real servers on an ACE blade through snmp please? We loaded following mibs : CiscoSlbMIB (OI .161) , CiscoSlbExtMIB (OI .254) and CiscoSlbHealthMonMIB (OI .508).When we do a snmpwalk for .508 we NEVER get any values.Do we something wrong?Do we have to load a certain ACE image ?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Mike

Can you send the full numerical OID you are attempting to walk?

OBJECT ID : .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.508

If you try to query something more specific like the following, do they work:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.254.1.6.1.1.4
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.254.1.6.1.1.19

Yes (hereunder the results of snmpwalk):

So the objects in the MIB's are working. You need to query specific objects in under each mib to determine what you need

OK,thanks but is it possible to give me a little but more details please.I'm not so familiar with SNMP issues. Thanks in advance.

What you should do is go to :
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseMIB.do?local=en&step=2
Select the following MIBs and view their contents:
CISCO-SLB-MIB
CISCO-SLB-EXT-MIB
CISCO-SLB-HEALTH-MON-MIB
The objects have pretty good descriptions so you can read and see which ones you want to query and the results that are expected. This is better than trying to walk a whole MIB.

In the description of the CISCO-SLB-MIB I found SlbRealServerState which I'm interested in.However if I do a snmpwalk of the OID (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.3.1.1.4) the result is "no MIB objects contained under subtree".Nevertheless there are Reals Servers configured on the blade.Could you explain me why I can't see these through snmp plse?
Thx
Mike
