PIX 501 VPN trouble?

Okay so I've had some trouble looking over the cisco tutorial about this issue. "Simply" I am trying to set up a VPN from a computer to a PIX. I have the VPN Client 5.0, but I just can't figure how to configure the PIX (Everytime I hit connect it fails at "Negotiating security policies...". The external IP address of the PIX is 74.xx.xx.36 and the internal is 10.xx.xx.81.

Any help here will be appriciated.

What version of code are you running on the Pix. Please refer the below URL for configuration details:

If you have already configured the Pix for IPSEC and still not working, can you post you configuration and outputs of "deb cry is" and "deb cry ips" from the pix and logs from the client when you initiate the connection.
