Are you using port-security?

Can we see the configuration from this switch?

Hi Jack,

I believe this is not something critical. Looks like your log settings might have been configured with logging level for the console, monitor, and buffer logging as "Debugging" in this way, every single action the switches take such as the normal port adress learning is reported into the log.

If you see from your logs this is just that some end statiocn might have some online and their mac addresses are learned on ports and your previous message it is a multicast mac address which is getting learned on port and vlan.

Can you please check the "sh logs" and see what is the level it is configured for? and if it is debugging you can change it accordingly as per your network requirement.

Do you have any debugging turned on?

What you are seeing is a normal behavior when the switch is populating its CAM table, however this output shouldn't be seen in the log.

Type show debug and see if there is anything turned on. To disable debug, type undebug all
