Has anybody heard anything from Cisco on an IP Phone with VPN software on it? It seems a logical product for teleworkers. Other companies have it already.

As of right now today, there is no Cisco product that does this. You will need to use a router with VPN tunnel.
I know Mitel has the "teleworker" series. Which basically uses its own proprietary protocol encrypted to their server for connection.
Your other option with cisco is SIP.

The SIP option is interesting. Is this where you use the CUBE-Cisco's Border Element to enter the network to connect to the CallManager?

I think you can use Linksys phones with VPN connecting to ASA.. should work
Also for PDAs you can use VPN software
and for Nokia the VPN with intellisync
