All of a sudden our Port 25 and 443 access went out on our ASA. When trying to connect from the outside we're getting this error. We just need to verify that it's in fact Hardware and not something in the configuration even though the configuration hasn't changed.

%ASA-4-402123: CRYPTO: The ASA hardware accelerator encountered an error (code= 0x15) while executing crypto command 0x30.

Error Message %PIX|ASA-4-402123: CRYPTO: The accel_type hardware accelerator encountered an error (code= error_string) while executing crypto command command .

accel_type-Hardware accelerator type

error_string-Code indicating the type of error

command-Crypto command that generated the error

Explanation This message is displayed when an error is detected while running a crypto command with a hardware accelerator. This could indicate a problem with the accelerator. This type of error may occur for a variety of reasons, and this message supplements the crypto accelerator counters to help determine the cause.

I experienced this same error on an ASA5540 running 8.0(4)terminating SSL VPN.

Have you been able to get any info on this yet?

Thanks
