isa with voip

i have customer that make voip between 2 site through vpn and the vpn terminited on the routers and behind the router there is isa server act as firwall but sometimes we suffer problems with the voip traffic but when we remove the isa from the sytem the problem is solved i need to know if there is effect of the isa on the voice traffic

ISA card is supported in 12.1E, VoIP is not supported in 12.1E. VoIP is supported in 12.1T and 12.1XI images. Need IOS image that

supports both the ISA and VoIP technologies.
