Hi!
I don't know why but from time to time a CCM 4.2 looses connection to LDAP without changing anything on the callmanager side.
Do you know what are the probable causes?

CCM AD integrated?
How are you testing the connection?
Exact CCM version and LDAP server?
Any error in EV?
Any error under c:\dcdsrvr\logs ?
Sniffer trace is your friend

CCM AD integrated, yes.
I know there is no connection to ldap because on the callmaneger when I try to search for any AD user it is not possible anymore. Also the IP phones directory is not working anymore.
It's a CCM 4.2(3).
I'll answer the other questions later on.

Hi!
Here is some more information:
⢠At the CallManager Administrator Interface, when trying to reach User>Global Directory, the following error message appears:
â
The page cannot be displayed
â¦.
HTTP 500 - Internal server error
Internet Explorer
â
⢠The same exact error is displayed when I'm trying to open the CallManager user page (https://callmanager/ccmuser).
⢠When trying to use the IP phone Corporate Directory to search a contact, after writing the name of the person I'm looking for, this error is displayed:
âSearch XML Error â¦
â
In the Event Viewer there are errors:
Source: Active Server Pages
Event ID: 4
Description: Service stopped
Probably a service has to be started or restarted at the callmanager?
Thanks,
Ana
