In vtp domain,why some devices display ip address not hostname

Dear all,

In topology services-managed domains-vtp domain.some devices display ip(ip is wrong) the others display hostname,and ip Please see attachment.

What version of Campus Manager is this? What type of switch(es)? What relation do these switches have? Are both addresses still active in the network?

Campus Manager version: 4.0.8

Switch type: 4506 and 2960

Device name :140.231.244.5 is not exist now(Maybe active before)

IP address 140.231.244.6 is active

2960 via trunk uplink to 4506

Then you are most likely seeing CSCsj51103 which is completely fixed in Campus Manager 4.0.10. You will need to upgrade to both CS 3.0.6 and Campus 4.0.10, run a new Campus Manager Data Collection, and this problem should be fixed.
