Hi,
Allow me to correct Mounir for once, the 800 series routers do not support do not support ATM.
You need a minimum of a 1841 with AIM-ATM and VWIC-MFT-xE1 or VWIC2-MFT-xE1/T1 support a 2mbps circuit with ATM. There is also bundles available that comprises both parts.
See:

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

At this moment we are not sure whether the output would be on RJ45 or a co-axial cable.
Following is the sh ver of the router

Hi, as mentioned above you need to purchase the cards or bundle to activate the ATM circuit. Any reputable cisco reseller or partner should be able to procure them.

Is there a need for the AIM as well or only the card will do?

Yes, you need the AIM that means ATM Integration Module. Else, I would have not mentioned it.
