SyslogCollector can process 200 messages per second with bursts to 1000 per second. Since SyslogCollector doesn't handle persistent storage of syslog messages, your question really doesn't make any sense. SyslogAnalyzer, on the other hand, is responsible for writing messages to the database. The database can hold as many messages as you have disk space.
