Hi everybody,

I'm running diagnostics on various supervisor cards ona 6509 chassis and have found that several of the cards are showing this same problem:

System Bootstrap, Version 7.1(1)

Testing lower main memory - checkerboard

boot: cannot load "bootflash:"

rommon 2 >

rommon 2 > dir slot0:

Directory of disk0:

rommon 3 > boot bootflash:c6k222-psv-mz.122-18.SXD7b.bin

open(): Open Error = -9

loadprog: error - on file open

boot: cannot load "bootflash:c6k222-psv-mz.122-18.SXD7b.bin"

I can't believe that all the cards have the same problem so i tried them (at least 4 different ones) in a 6000 series chassis but get the same problem.

I tried loading a different IOS image on the PCMCIA card but no joy.

The only one that i got to load showed the following:

System Bootstrap, Version 5.3(1)

Is this because i haven't got the latest IOS? Any ideas on why the others aren't operational? Any help would be appreciated.
