CNA Link Types?

I am using CNA ver 5.3 and I did a printout of a VLAN for my manager. In checking the many links it became apparent that links between many switches and routers did not show as Gb links but instead a thin line? Other links did show as Gb links but the majority only showed as a thin line or edge? All of the links in question are fiber Gb so I am puzzled as to why?

my guess is that the thin links are shown to devices that are not yet community members - also those devices will have their labels in yellow rectangles while community members have labels in green rectangles.
