Ok.. My ISP does not support any type of encapsulation... So is there anyway to set the WAN with a static ip address.... Thnaks Tom

What do you mean by encapsulation, and what is the service contracted with your provider ?

On the wan setup of this router there is not a dhcp or static ip setting. I only see ppoe and I need a static setting no authintcation... Thanks Tom

I'm sorry thanks for your help newegg sent me the wrong model 877W and I need the 871W no wan port on the 877W... Thanks Tom
