WAP as a receiver?

Hello

I am developing a mobile penetration testing kit, and I would like to know if it is possible to utilize an AIR-12xx as a wireless receiver capable of receiving wireless signals for greater than one mile.

Similarly, I am interested in knowing which, if any, of the Aironet series is capable of packet injection via the appropriate software suites/linux distros.

Any resources would be helpful. Thank you.

Upto my knowledge, I don't think a Wireless AP like 1200 series can be utilized in mobile wireless. What you are asking here is related to mobile wireless and I think this AP is not useful.
