Hi All

Will enabling snmp on a Cat2960 acting purely as a L2 switch afftec performance?

We want to remove as much as possible any overhead on the switch so have turned off as much as we can.

I don't know if it is possible to do that on

Cat2960 because the command "sdm prefer vlan"

is NOT available in Cat2960, only with

C2960(config)#sdm prefer ?

default Default bias

qos QoS bias

C2960(config)#sdm prefer

CCIE Security

Where do you have performance concerns? Running services will increase CPU/memory but should not effect port performance.
