Hi all. I have just installed a CUCM 6.x for a customer and I cant figure out how to get the "corporate directory" to work. I have tried to look this up in the documentation, but cant seem to find anything on it. Anyone have any idea on how to set that up?

Ok, so it is working. You need to add adjust the user in the CCM user page. Add in their Primary Extension or telephone number in the field. This has to be added manually, even though you have added the user, associated the device, etc. It's kind of backwards, but it make sense. The directory may list a 7 digit number, when the extension maybe 4 or vice versa.

You need to setup the server name of IP address into the service parameters of the directory.
http:/x.x.x.x/CCMcip/xmldirectory.asp should be in the service parmameter for Corporate Directory. Then it will work.
It could be possible that it is there, but it the phone cannot resolve the DNS name of the CUCM server. Change it to the IP address and it will work

Yeah, I get a HTTP 404 error when going to that. I did it by IP address, still no luck. Maybe a service not running?

are you using LDAP with AD, just the Cisco DC?

Just Cisco DC.
I added 8080 on the end of the IP address, I get further, but no real display of anything except the following:

It will not work with IE or firefox. Is this coming up on the phone?

No, sorry. Thats in my webbrowser. Just did another test on the phone, it will show the name, but not the extension. I push dial with the name highlighted, and it does nothing.
