I am trying to set up a span session using all ports except for port 15. If I try a very long:

mon sess 1 source fa0/1,fa0/2,fa0/3 etc

it comes back with an error around fa0/20 (probably too long).

is there a way to say something like

mon sess 1 source int fa0/1 through fa0/14

I have tried

mon sess 1 source int fa0/1-fa0/14

and it doesn't like the hyphen.

Hi Friend,

Try this and it will surely work

monitor session 1 source interface fa0/1 - 14

Make sure there is a space between 1 and hyphen and 14
