Gateway clock

Hi all,

We have a gateway (AS5400XM); sometimes, after a crash, the gateway clock resets to some date in the past(2001-xx-xx). After 2 or 3 mintues; it can synchronize with our NTP server; and gateway clock goes ok.

Any idea to avoid the gateway clock to reset?

Hi,

I think you should avoid first the gateway to crash, by running an IOS that has not the bug causing the crash.

After it reloads, it is normal that it takes some time to resynchronize with the ntp server.
