I have a Cisco Aironet 1130AG Access Point connected to my LAN.

I Have given it a Static IP of

150.150.20.3

255.255.0.0

150.150.2.254 (Gateway)

My Proxy Server is configured with a Static IP of

150.150.7.3

255.255.0.0

150.150.2.254

DNS (My AD server the IP of my internet connection is 150.150.2.254)

150.150.15.131

150.150.15.132

I want to configure it so that when wireless clients connect to the AP traffic is routed through the proxy server so that I can monitor it.

When I change the AP's Gateway to 150.150.7.3 Traffic is not routed through the proxy server.

Is there any whay do do this?

Thanks

Hi Gerry,

1. just remenber that the gateway is the device that route the traficc, so in your proxy server you should put a route or a instruction that send all the wireles trafic to the next hope.

2. If you just one to route the internet trafic or port 80 trafic, remember that you should configure in the internet explorer on the pc or laptops clients (tools, internet options, conexions, etc) and configure there the proxy server ip address.

Usually we use the proxy to control the port 80 or internet traficc.

I hope this help you
