Description:

Cisco Unity-CM TSP: Device 53 (Cisco Unity port 49) was unable to connect to the Cisco CallManager cluster.

Examine the cluster connection settings and verify that they are correct. The device will keep trying to connect in case the Cisco CallManager cluster is temporarily unavailable.

The Cisco Unity-CM TSP version is 8.1(2).

Hi -

I checked out your application event log and saw many of these error events - 822. This is an event I know well. Check the security event log just before the 822 errors started occurring. Someone connected to the Unity server in terminal services "Console only mode". This is not a supported way to access the Unity server and will result in these errors, which require a server reboot to correct. Using Remote Desktop Connection is a supported mode of accessing the Unity server, just not in console-only mode.
