I have a 3550 & 2960 switch that's configured with VLANs. I wanted to know if theres anything out there that I could use to monitor the bandwidth of the networks, like individual VLANs and network as a whole with a GUI. It doesn't matter if its a linux program or Windows, I can place it on a VM. I know you can use cacti for the firewall, if you can use this or something better can someone point it out for me?

I had this post up on LAN, Switching and Routing, and the post-e told me to try it out over here. He suggested MRTG.

Joshua, I recommend PRTG for windows.. this is a great bandthwith minitoring software, it is not free but you may try the DEMO version which gives you 5 free sensors to monitor, meaning you may monitor physical interfaces or uplink interfaces, anything , inlcuding serial links.
