Hello, I am facing the following problem:

When I plug-in the vic-2FXO card I am unable to see (and configute) voice ports 2/0 & 2/1

I will appreciate any help.

Hi, send show diag. Most likely you do not have dsp resource and need to add the in the form of PVDM-256-XX modules.

Do a SH DIAG and check the type of DSP module you have installed in the router. I suspect you don't have enough DSP resources for the 4 B channels on the 2 port BRI and the 2 port FXO ports.

Paste the SH DIAG output here so we can confirm.

So now a race to give you the final answer :-)

You have a PVDM-256K-4= DSP module , which will only support 4 channels, which would be the 4 B channels of the BRI card, or the VIC-2FXO, but not both at the same time.

You will need a PVDM-256K-8= at the very least for this to work.
