Hello Folks,
Currently, we have to seperate sites (130 users each)with two seperate Gateways and PRI's but are moving all the users into a single site in downtown. We will have two PRI's in the new site. I would like to be able to use both existing GW's in the new site. In order to avoid additional configuration, I am planning to keep the same design which is as follow:
PRI1---->GW1(2821)---->CCM5.1---->Phone1 (Simulating Site #1 in the new site)
PRI2---->GW2(2821)---->CCM5.1---->Phone2 (Simulating Site #2 in the new site)
Although both gateways are seated in the same rack but don't know about each other. They will be serving their own and respective users as they used to do on the old sites. My questions:
1)Is this an acceptable design?
2)Based on the above, how the SRST can be done?
Thanks,
MK

MK:
When you move site 2 PRI to Site 1, is your carrier moving the DID block, or is your carrier doing any forwarding.

Yes the carrier is moving the DID block to the new PRI's.
