I have recently setup Cisco Unified Department Attendant Console in a CUCM 5.1 enviroment. The operators would like the ability to transfer calls directly to user's voicemail boxes (currently when calls are transferred to the users and they do not answer, the call is returned to the console, which is undesirable).
We are using Unity for voicemail; "Voicemail prefix code" is referenced in the Department Attendant Console guide, and can be configured in preferences, however I can not find any good article on how this relates to Cisco Unity. Ultimately I would like the ability to dial "*" then an extension, and be delivered directly to the user's greeting. The Attendant console leads me to believe this is possible, however CCO articles make me think it might not work this way.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
